Horse Stance Horizontal
Begin on hands/knees with hands directly below shoulders and knees directly below hips. Position oneself in a position of perfect postural alignment (see picture). Lift hand and opposite knee and extend them outward. Position the arm out at 45 degrees with the thumb pointing up, and the leg straight back (careful not to extend leg too high and extend the back).(6)
